Adetunji Olude, Councilmember



Adetunji Olude specializes in ERISA employee benefits handling appeals, claims and litigation. Before practicing in ERISA, Ms. Olude was an in-house attorney for the Judicial Council of California, the administrative arm of the state courts. Prior to that, she represented employees in employment discrimination and whistleblower retaliation cases and wage and hour class actions. Ms. Olude also litigated cases challenging economic abuses in the realm of housing and consumer finance at the Housing and Economic Rights Advocates. She earned a Juris Doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center where she was designated a Public Interest Law Scholar.

Ms. Olude was appointed by Governor Gavin Newsom in 2020.
