Bret Geckeler, Attorney Mediator

After attending UCLA for both undergrad and law school, Bret Geckeler began his legal career with a global law firm. He has litigated complex cases in venues across the United States. Bret quickly found mediation and the benefits offered by alternative dispute resolution to be the most fascinating aspects of legal practice.

Bret began his mediation career in January 2021 and has substantial experience mediating a diverse range of matters. Bret is a member of the International Academy of Mediators Mentorship Program. His prior experience as an attorney includes work on securities law, shareholder derivative, white-collar, and multidistrict litigation matters. His pro bono work earned recognition from the California Innocence Project in 2018.

Bret joined CRD’s Dispute Resolution Division in 2024.
