David Garcia, Councilmember

David Garcia is a Senior Attorney at the Inner City Law Center and defends tenants in unlawful detainer matters. From 1997 to 2023, David was Director of Investigations for Edison International and was a Senior Attorney for Southern California Edison Company. David served as an Assistant United States Attorney from 1990 to 1997 and as a Deputy District Attorney for Los Angeles County from 1986 to 1990. David also served as an attorney for the United States Justice Department, Civil Rights Division in Washington, D.C. from 1985 to 1986. David is a graduate of UCLA Law School and has a Bachelors degree from California State University, Los Angeles and a Masters in Business Administration from Pepperdine University.
